Get A Free TabletPC Stylus

Lenova has a survey about how one uses the Lenova (IBM) Tablet PC:

"Please take a few minutes to tell us about your use of the Lenovo tablet PC and you will receive a complimentary tablet pen."

I hear that the IBM stylus ain't half bad, if that's what they are giving away.

Noble Cause

You've proably read the quote half a dozen times or more:

On Meet the Press, August 21, Reuel Marc Gehrect a neo-con architect of the Irag war said:

"In 1900, women did not have the right to vote. If Iraqis could develop a democracy that resembled America in the 1900s, I think we'd all be thrilled. I mean, women's social rights are not critical to the evolution of democracy."

Now watch the video, courtesy of Crooks and liars.

Salon.com - Tereska Torres

If you've read this annoying (I'm being charitable) Salon interview with Tereska (I'm not a lesbian - I'm French!) Torres, and you still want to read Women's Barracks anyway, take a look at Olympia Press's $1.00 reprints.

They've got several 50's pulp classics, including Women's Barracks, in various unlocked formats.

Lots of Ann Bannon, too

Back to the Bedroom by Janet Evanovich.

So Janet Evanovich has reached such dizzying heights that we're now able to buy her early, pseudonymous romances.

::Sigh::

Fictionwise eBooks: Incubus Dreams: The Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series by Laurell K. Hamilton

Way too late - you've probably read it by now, or know not to (it is that qwful) - Fictionwise offers Laurel K Hamilton's Incubus Dreams with a 30% Micropay rebate.

Didn't Anita Blake kill monsters in her early books? When did this series devolve into noting but soft core porn?

SyncToy v1 Beta

This has absolutely nothing to do with ebooks - but if you have a PDA, you probably have to keep several devices in sync.

If at least two of those devices are Windws computers, you're in luck. Microsoft's new Sync Toy is very cool.

(Note: it doesn't sync PDA data)

Take a look.

OneNote For $30.00 After Rebate

Wow!

I love OneNote. I'd say it's the best thing Microsoft has ever done, but -- I know, I know -- that's setting the bar awfully low.

If you have a Tablet PC, OneNote is a Must Have app/ If you have a laptop or desktop PC - OneNote is still a Must Have app.

Amazon is selling it for $80 with a $50 rebate. that's $30 -- even cheap than the "Academic" price.

Buy it!
